Aided in the initial art direction and redesigns of the State University of New York at Oswego website. Process included consulting, wireframes and concepts, advocation of web standards such as ADA (American Disabilities Act) and Section 508 (Federal and State policies on access), conversion of CMS (content management systems), templates, and testing and deployments over a several-year period.
Direction and design of electronic campaigns, e-newsletters, invites, and other email-based marketing implementation and deployment as well as assisting in committee-based decisions, reports, tweaking to improve numbers, and training. Campaigns have included alumni, giving, offices of the President and various administration, performing arts, and other schools and departments.
Art direction for interactive video and Flash presentations that included the college's office of the President, giving, alumni, community development, and other schools and departments. Won Best in Category at the SUNY awards for electronic presentation "Wishing You a Joyful Year," an invite and web-based Flash design targeting alumni giving which was considered a success by exceeding goals.
Introduced, directed, and designed an annual print and online publication, "Prospering Together," displaying the college's state, regional, and local impacts; from financial expenditures, employment, volunteerism, and other figures. Report used for leverage in deciders from government to community leaders to help secure position of the college's importance to the state down to the local level.
Art direction and development of various online interactive presentations that highlight significant aspects of the college's position among colleges and universities for furthering academic data awareness, recruitment of talent, community outreach, and other uses.
Art direction of a photography, print, online materials, advertising, email marketing, and other collateral touting State University of New York at Oswego's new focus on global sciences programs and research. Project included concepting piece from scratch after committee meetings, interviewing faculty, culling information about current and future projects, and creating a piece based on the seven continents where research is taking place.
Lead art direction and design in intensive branding for the Performing Arts at the State University of New York at Oswego for several years with a focus on interdisciplinary programs such as arts across the curriculum and other interdisciplinary programs to bridge science, humanities, business, and other schools with the arts. Illustration of poster designs got personal notes of appreciation from such names as composer Stephen Sondheim and writer Ray Bradbury.
Helped in various discussions, ideas, and implementation using branding for campus-wide signage design and and their deployment highlighting various campus programs; from local to global student academic achievements, athletics, school pride, campus and local community events, and other college-related happenings.
